Linda Cahan, Visual Merchandising Expert, aims to Improve Your Bottom Line at 2017 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo

Linda Cahan, of Cahan & Company, has a proven track record of helping retailers look better to sell more. She consults with retailers of all sizes and categories to improve their bottom line through creative and appropriate visual merchandising and store design.

Other than her extensive experience with almost all retail categories, what also sets her apart is her understanding of how energy and light move through a space and how that impacts sales. Her deep understanding and experience with retail color psychology, texture and form help increase sales and develop customer loyalty.

Linda's philosophy in giving workshops is to give as much information as possible, making it clear and easy to implement. Convention attendees will walk out of her sessions inspired to make changes to their dealerships. The workshops will be very slide intensive with usually at least 150-350 photo slides to keep attendees entertained, educated, and help them remember the ideas offered during the session.

The first parts track workshop presented by Linda is, "Refresh & Repeat: 10 Secrets to Keeping Your Store New and Exciting," on Thursday, November 9, 9:00-10:00 a.m. Blow the dust out of your store and give it fresh appeal – affordably. Attendees will learn 10 secret (and easy!) ways to create a new feeling in your existing space and keep customers coming back to see what’s new. Then, learn how to keep refreshing on an ongoing basis to make your store feel new all the time. It’s a “refresher course” you can’t miss.

Following her first workshop, Linda will present, "Turning Customer Craziness into Sales," Thursday, November 9, 10:15-11:15 a.m. With the information provided in this workshop you will have a better understanding of the psychology of what people respond to, and will help you give customers what they want. What gets people to buy from you instead of online, your neighbor, or the big box down the street? How and why people buy starts with the experience they feel when they see your store. Attendees will learn how to increase the positive experiences for your customers using the knowledge of how they shop, how they’d prefer to shop and what simple, affordable and small things you can do right now to increase your sales and your customers positive perceptions of your dealership.

The convention is sponsored by RVDA–The National RV Dealers Association, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center and each year the Convention Committee focuses on featuring expert presenters like Valerie Ziebron and Linda Cahan to keep the content relevant and fresh for dealers.
